In Memory of Susan Denise Atkins-Whitehouse
A Friend Indeed
We learned in a previous chapter of Susan's works
The Dove's Nest Newsletters A Collection of Christian Newsletters
(by Susan Atkins-Whitehouse),
Susan's husband James
wrote an introduction for Susan's work.
Within his introduction,
he told us of a dear friend of Susan's.
It was this friend of Susan's
who wrote the FOREWORD of Susan's work.
At the conclusion of the Foreword,
Susan's friend put her name,
and the month and year of it's completion,
July 2010,
10 months after Susan's passing.

Susan's friend tells us why Susan came into her life.
She wrote of the first time she met Susan;
how their friendship grew,
and how they worked together
to create and maintain Susan's website,
The Doves Nest.
The foreword Susan's friend wrote is
a beautiful tribute to a dear friend.
Susan's friend conveyed to us
how much she loved Susan;
how much she cared for her,
how much she admired her.
We are sure the words she was able to find
could never do justice as to how strongly she must have felt.

Sometimes,
words just cannot express the intensity
of what is in our hearts.
We hear Susan's friend very well.
The following is quoted from the Foreword of
The Dove's Nest Newsletters
A Collection of Christian Newsletters
(by Susan Atkins-Whitehouse)
It's a small portion
of the Foreward by Susan's friend;
"...Yet the blessing in all of this
is how many lives Susan was able to touch,
and how many lives were spared
from hopelessness, despair,
addiction, violence, loss of faith,
and so much more.
For those who received Susan's message
and who already felt blessed and not troubled,
I know their blessings in life were multiplied"
words just cannot express the intensity
of what is in our hearts.

We would ask to amend 1 word;
we would change
WAS able to touch, to
IS able to touch.
Susan still touches lives,
even to this day.
We know it to be true,
we know it for a fact...
home
we would change
WAS able to touch, to
IS able to touch.
