Hell and Back

Susan originally attended
​ Leigh High School in San Jose, California.
When Susan's father moved them after her mother died,
Susan then attended
​ Los Banos High School
​in Los Banos, California.

It was from Los Banos High School
​ that Susan quit her studies,
and started her journey.

Susan's journey ended in Chowchilla, California
where she passed away.

It is curious that Susan
                 would live her final days in Chowchilla,
where she was transferred from Corona, California,
​after becoming ill.

Chowchilla is only 35 miles away from Los Banos.

Susan started and ended her journey in the same area,
in practically the same spot,
​near 45 years later.

Of course,
​ when Susan returned to this area,
she was not quite the same person who had left...
