Musician: "...We used to leave our doors open, you know,
that's the way it was in Hollywood, so,
I lived on Lookout Mountain, and um, I came home from,
we were playing in San Francisco, and I was tired,
and I come home and who's in my house
but (name of a former associate of Susan)
sitting on the floor.
And you know, it was okay, 'cause, you know,
we were friends,
I hadn't seen him in a long time.
So I said, '(name of the former associate),
how ya doin'!'
And you know, we tripped,
and uh, I noticed the door
to my bedroom was closed and,
'Is there somebody in my room?'
And he said, 'Oh yeah, I brought my chick with me'
and 'is it okay if she crashes for awhile'
and I said 'Sure man!'

But then, after we're talking, you know,
this.......scroungy looking thing comes walking out of my bedroom.
And I said, he said 'This is (the other name Susan was known as).
She's a black haired chick, real skinny,
I mean cadaverous,
looked like she was walking dead.
And you know, I'm kind of bummed out now,
chick looked as though she hasn't bathed in years,
she's in my bed!
And um, so I, you know, made it known to him
that I wasn't very happy about that.
And uh he started talking to me
about um, this group that
he was living with up in um,
some.......some ranch they were living...
....and the lady (the other name Susan was known as) skinny
was Susan Atkins,
I later find out..."
