In Memory of Susan Denise Atkins-Whitehouse
Granted
Susan began her website with a writing
dated September 1997 and is reproduced in her works
The Dove's Nest Newsletters A Collection of Christian Newsletters
by Susan Atkins-Whitehouse.
Early in her writing,
Susan tells us why she had created her website,
'The Dove's Nest'.
The following is a small excerpt -
(Susan's writing should be read
in it's entirety to be appreciated, and for continuity.
If words are bold here,
then Susan wrote it that way.)

"...I know that there are a lot of people who want to hear
what I may have to say. I know this because in nearly 28 years
of incarceration, the cards, letters and questions
keep coming to me, from all over the world.
There are those who write me with questions,
those who write to bring me hope, faith,
and to let me know
they are praying for me.
There are those who write and
who want to exploit me,
get some tid bit
of information that they can perhaps sell
on some sick market of crime watchers.
There are those who want
to genuinely know what I've done
or what I have to say about prison life after 28 years.
So,
due to the ever increasing number of people
who want to know what I have to say,
this WEB page was developed.
If you are a first time viewer,
it is my hope that my message will have
a profound impact upon your heart and your life..."
Susan continued on in her letter to it's end.
Susan's wish was granted...
