Then...and Now
As we know,
Susan authored a website she called The Doves Nest.
It was active from 1997 through 2007.
As Susan's friend told us in the Foreward she wrote for
The Doves Nest Newsletters A Collection of Christian Newsletters,
(by Susan Atkins-Whitehouse),
Susan's website was closed down as the provider
was unable to assure security.
As we know,
Susan authored a website she called The Doves Nest.

"It was my hope that it could continue again in time,
but sadly Susan fell ill and that hope
never came to fruition."
Here in present day,
we're sad that Susan's website
is no longer active.
But there is wonderful news!
As of this writing,
with thanks to those who make it happen,
Susan's website,
The Doves Nest,
is partially available in digital archive,
for everyone!

when Susan's website is opened.

there is a beautiful portrait of Susan.
Beneath the portrait reads
'Susan Atkins-Whitehouse 1994'.
Above the portrait of Susan is a box,
and within the box is
an animation that writes in cursive
"Jesus is everything I need".
It remains for a moment, disappears,
and then the animation repeats.
At the top of the page, Susan placed
" 'that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ
and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved.' Romans 10:9"
(Susan told us,
in her first Christian newsletter,
this is one of her favorite scriptures!)

for anyone who wishes to experience it...
